A study of the nutritional value of food and food habits as they relate to the young child from prenatal to age six. Included will be basic factors that affect child health. Emphasis is on the provisions of a healthy environment for yong children and the importance of good nutrition in developing and maintaining good health. Practical information on meal planning and preparation for families and children in day care group settings is also included.
